Staple Coats You Need for Winter Part III : The Opulent Faux Fur Collar Coat

If you’ve been following along in the Staple Winter Coat Series you’ve finally made it to the end! In this last part of the series, I will talk about how much I love the luxuriousness of the faux fur collar coat and my favorite occasions to break it out!

I’ll start with why I love faux fur so much. I love the glamourous look the addition of fur, or a total fur coat gives. I prefer a faux to a real fur simply for 3 reasons: 1) It’s less expensive, 2) it’s easier to maintain, and 3) if you get a really great quality faux it’s difficult to tell the difference. Also, it goes without saying, but it’s much more friendly to the environment and our fur friends.

I love to break out my faux fur collar coat when I’m going out for a romantic night on the town with my husband, or even for a fun evening of happy hour with the girls. When I’m wearing any faux fur I feel extra sexy, stylish, and elegant. Faux furs will always give you an alluring chic look that’s fit for a woman of opulence!
