Staple Coats You Need for Winter Part II : The Feminine Military Coat

Since we’re still in winter, there’s plenty of time to level up your coat game and cop a couple of classic, staple pieces that you’ll be able to wear for several winters to come. In this part of the series I will be discussing one of my all time favorites for winter - the wool, double breasted military coat!

For me, a wool coat during the winter is a must. Even though I live in the south, it still definitely gets cold enough on occasion for a nice, sturdy wool coat. I love nice, classic clean lines and the double breasted military style gives me just that!

Coats that have a military style will effortlessly make any look pop! The symmetry of the buttons and optional wing collars that compliment these styles of coats also add a component of sophistication. They’re a major staple for any winter coat wardrobe because you can easily dress them up or down to be worn anywhere - to church or even for a night out on the town!
