100 Empowering Affirmations for Black Women Creators and Entrepreneurs
I’m sharing 100 life-changing affirmations for black women, specifically, entrepreneurs and creators.
These affirmations for self love and confidence will help you manifest all the success you deserve and move towards your goals and dreams. I’ve been so blessed to be both a career woman and an entrepreneur and have worked hard to build the courage to create and seek more for myself and my family. Over the years, I’ve opened up my life and talents to the world and success has come back to me again and again. But, I know how hard it is to take those first steps towards building the life you want. You might be reaching for goals you’re suited for, but a little intimidated to achieve. It’s ok to start scared…. just start!
Because, here’s the thing. We are capable of everything we desire. There is room for each of us in our spaces. There is a way forward for all of us to be successful when we have our minds right. And you’ll find strength and power as you begin to move. If you think you can, you can. If you think you can’t, you can’t.
WHAT IS AN AFFIRMATION?
Obviously you’re here, so you likely already know what an affirmation is. But if you don’t, here’s the tea. Affirmations are short, positive statements you can repeat to yourself to help you overcome negative thoughts and feelings. We need all the positive thoughts and energy we can get. Reciting affirmations at the beginning of your day, or really any time you need a pick me up can help you see things differently and in a more positive light.
WHY ARE AFFIRMATIONS FOR BLACK WOMEN IMPORTANT?
I wrote my first curated list of affirmations for black women after realizing the uplifting I needed for myself. I knew if I needed my own positive words, other women just like me did too. Black women deal with traumas of everyday life linked to racism, sexism, and other toxic stressors of society. With so much burden, I find that speaking life and positivity to ourselves is one thing we can do for our own self care.
Black women who are creators, artists, and entrepreneurs deal with our own negative thoughts of incompetence, feelings that we don’t deserve to belong, and untrue notions of imposter syndrome. It’s time to shut all that down!
Below are several impactful affirmations for black women to give you the confidence to take those first steps or to continue down the path the boss you are!
