  3. Play outdoor games.

It’s a lot harder to play games outdoors he it’s colder, but when spring hits it’s a no brainer. Get the baseball tea, bat, and head outside for some t ball, or get some chalk and draw on the sidewalk for some great hop scotch games. Either way, get out there and enjoy some activities for spring break that will get you out and moving!

Taking road trips is one of my favorite activities for spring break because you can hop in the car and do a little exploration with the family. I used to be scared at the thought of traveling with a toddler, but I actually think Little David enjoys seeing a variety of different things even more than we do! Pack a bag, jump in the car, and go a city near you!

  7. Do an outdoor city tour.

It’s likely that no matter where you live, you probably have been there for years and haven’t done any of the touristy things. Well, take the time to do this as an activity for spring break with the family. Schedule an outdoor city tour, or just take the time to walk around some of the most popular places in your area.

  8. Purge with Spring Cleaning.

Oh yes! When spring comes that means it’s time to do some good spring cleaning. When you get the entire family involved it can be really fun! Plan to take a look at toys, clothes, and any other household items you haven’t used in a year or more. Pack of all of those things and donate them to a local shelter, Good Will, or some other place that could use them!

During spring time some great festivals are always on the schedule no matter where you live. Get the family together and head out for a good time, with good food, and good music.

Lots of folks love reading, and one of the best ways to relax and enjoy an activity for spring break with y our family is to read together. PIck 1 or 2 great books that work for everyone and read them and discuss them. It’s a great way to bond and connect with the family outside of the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

  11. Go on a staycation.

There’s nothing like leaving the house to spend time in some new scenery. Pick a family friendly hotel near the house and live it up. Take the kids to the pool, order room service, and enjoy any of the other amenities offered on the property. It’s sure to be a good time for the entire family.
