Ready to make some super crispy fries with olive oil and sea salt flakes? Let’s get cooking!
Ingredients
Sea Salt Flakes (I like this brand)
Your Favorite, Unseasoned Frozen Fries
Ketchup (optional)
Directions
PREHEAT your air fryer at 400° for 5 minutes. BREAK up the frozen fries if needed. Here is the trick for the best crispy air fryer frozen French fries you’ve ever had. USE A WATER SPRITZ BOTTLE to SPRAY your frozen French fries with olive oil! This allows them to get a nice even coat of oil. Spray them to keep the oil light. You don’t want them too oily. Also, keep in mind to not spray your air fryer. There can be finishes on the hardware inside the fryer that could affect the way your French fries or other foods cook. Keep that in mind!
Next, SPRINKLE with sea salt flakes to taste.
Once the air fryer has finished heating, PLACE the fries in the basket and COOK for 20 minutes, tossing halfway through.
SERVE hot with ketchup or your other favorite dipping sauce.
